Job Description
Job Scope:
- The Application & Development Manager is responsible for leading the application, development, and implementation of the company‘s core software applications and digital ordering platforms. This includes overseeing the development of customer-facing e-commerce platforms such as Websites, Mobile applications, BYOD, Loyalty and CRM, point-of-sale systems, inventory management, Middleware, APIs, and other critical business applications, and integration with Food Aggregators (FAs). The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and support the company‘s strategic goals.
- Focus on company strategy goals and suggestions/recommendations for IT
- management of new solutions, and systems that will provide more benefits for
- The company as such increases mores, development, or optimization systems / Interfaces to reduce the workload of the team and be more accurate in data and operational efficiency.
- Work with related departments, third-party vendors, aggregators, and JRG to Implement IT/Digital system as Group roadmap.
- Daily supervise and build team capabilities for application & developer teams.
Job Description:
- Perform project management on any digital projects as assigned by the Management team.
- Manage the application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Ensuring application performance, identifying, and resolving issues, implementing measures to ensure system reliability and security, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Budgeting and resource planning for the technology department.
- Oversee the work of in-house developers and liaise with external technology partners to ensure the timely delivery of software projects.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and software tools to improve the company‘s digital capabilities and productivity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the company‘s e-commerce platform as Website, Mobile application, BYOD, Middle-ware, APIs, system Integrated with FAs, and other third-party platforms, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online ordering experience for customers while optimizing website contents comfortable for SEO strategies, customer’s behavior recommendation by FullStory platform.
- Manage the integration of the company‘s software systems, such as point-of-sale, E-Coupon, inventory, SAS, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, Braze customer engagement platform
- Develop and maintain documentation, and follow up on policies & procedures related to application development guidelines from YUM and JM.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of talented software developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Participate in the company‘s strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations on technology-driven initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Education / Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Personalities:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- A dynamic professional with a minimum 5 years of experience in the same position of application, development, and project management, preferably in the food service or retail industry
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
- Experience in managing the integration of various software systems and technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate
- With cross-functional teams in both English and Vietnamese.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of software developers and engineers
- Hands-on, possess a high energy level, and good team player
- Being self-motivated and flexible.
- Works Effectively in a Dynamic Atmosphere
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are a plus
Skill Must have :
- Programming language: C# (.Net), MS SQL (query, store procedure, trigger, function), Restful API, NodeJS.
- Team and project management: Github, Jira, MS Project.
- Server manage: Windows (IIS 10.0), Linux (Ubuntu), MS SQL Server, Nginx, PM2…..
- Application deployment: website hosting, mobile app store (IOS/Android) deployment.
- Database management: Database structure design, monitoring, tuning SQL.
- Application system architecture design.
- Technology : Kafka, SignalR, Worker Service.
- Knowledge nice to have: ReactJS, NextJS, React Native, MS PowerApp, MS Power BI-report, integration with GRAB and Shopee.
