Job Description

Role Overview

The Social Content Specialist is responsible for developing and executing Pizza Hut Vietnam’s social media and content strategy across key digital platforms.

This role owns the end-to-end content process, from translating brand and campaign strategies into platform-relevant content directions to creative development, publishing, community engagement, and performance optimization.

The position is responsible for ensuring all content follows brand guidelines, maintains a consistent brand voice, and is delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.

The role works closely with Brand, Digital, Media, Design, Commercial, agencies, and other cross-functional teams, while also supervising and developing one Social Content Intern.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly social content strategies and calendars across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Identify cultural trends, consumer conversations, emerging platforms, and content formats that create relevant opportunities for the brand.
  • Define platform-specific content roles, audience approaches, and communication priorities aligned with business and campaign objectives.

2. Content Development & Performance

  • Lead the end-to-end content development process, including ideation, briefing, copywriting, visual direction, production, publishing, and quality control.
  • Develop engaging social-first formats across static content, short-form video, real-time content, branded entertainment, and always-on communication.
  • Monitor content performance, conduct creative testing, and translate data into actionable recommendations to improve reach, engagement, video views, traffic, and audience growth.

3. Campaign, Product & Production Execution

  • Develop social content plans for brand campaigns, product launches, promotions, partnerships, and key commercial occasions.
  • Work closely with Brand and Commercial teams to balance brand storytelling with product and promotional communication.
  • Support and coordinate content production activities, including food photography, video shoots, KOL/KOC content, event coverage, and campaign assets.

4. Community Management & Social Listening

  • Oversee daily community management and ensure timely, appropriate, and brand-aligned responses across social platforms.
  • Monitor consumer feedback, brand sentiment, competitor activity, cultural conversations, and potential reputation issues.
  • Coordinate with Customer Experience, Operations, and relevant teams to resolve issues and turn community insights into content opportunities.

5. Agency & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage day-to-day coordination with social, creative, production, PR, media, and influencer agencies.
  • Provide clear briefs, constructive feedback, and quality control throughout the development and execution process.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure delivery against agreed scope, quality, timelines, and budgets.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Social Media, Content Marketing, Creative Content, or a similar position.
  • Experience working at a leading creative, social, or digital agency is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, creative briefing, and content planning capabilities.
  • Proven experience developing social-first content and managing content production from concept to execution.
  • Ability to analyze social media performance and translate findings into practical content recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating agencies, production partners, KOLs, and KOCs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive, trend-sensitive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in F&B, QSR, FMCG, or other consumer-facing industries is an advantage.

Preferred Profile

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of Vietnamese youth culture, digital behavior, and social media trends.
  • Combines strong creative instinct with a commercial and performance-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience guiding interns is an advantage.
