Job Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Prepare and verify payroll data, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Ensure payroll compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness programs, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Ensure all benefits are provided in compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations related to payroll, compensation, and benefits.
- Prepare and file necessary reports and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory changes affecting payroll and benefits.
Data Management and Accuracy:
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits in the HRIS (Cadena) and payroll systems.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision making and strategic planning.
Employee Communication and Support:
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits queries.
- Conduct information sessions and orientations to explain compensation and benefits programs.
- Handle escalated issues related to payroll discrepancies and benefits concerns.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and benefits administration.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits management.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
