Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Payroll Management:

  • Prepare and verify payroll data, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness programs, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Ensure all benefits are provided in compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations related to payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Prepare and file necessary reports and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory changes affecting payroll and benefits.

Data Management and Accuracy:

  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits in the HRIS (Cadena) and payroll systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision making and strategic planning.

Employee Communication and Support:

  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits queries.
  • Conduct information sessions and orientations to explain compensation and benefits programs.
  • Handle escalated issues related to payroll discrepancies and benefits concerns.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits management.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.

Knowledge / Skills:

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
